arwatco... a History of Success

The Arab Water Treatment Company (arwatco) was established in Baghdad, Iraq in 1998 as the first specialized water treatment company. Soon after, It was able to dominate the entire Iraqi market and became the largest Iraqi provider for water treatment products for residential, industrial, medical and municipal sectors.

By year 2005, arwatco began a regional expansion plan towards neighbouring countries. It acquired exclusive distributorships for numerous high-quality water treatment manufacturers worldwide. A regional office was established in Amman, Jordan to liason marketing and sales towards other countries in the Middle East and North Africa.

Starting from the second half of 2012, we have launched a second phase of expansion. The new phase includes inviting new international suppliers and manufacturers to expand their sales to the Middle East and Africa markets through us.

Why Sell to the Middle East and Africa?

The MEA region, the home of more than 1.2 billion people, is the driest region on earth. There are very few sources of fresh water, and the efforts made by governments in water treatment are insignificant. For the majority of this region, tap water is not suitable for drinking. This all creates a huge demand on water and sanitary treatment solutions, from residential all the way to large industrial.
